Hi Michael,
Well, the dust has settled after my wedding, honeymoon, etc. and
I finally have some time to send out a "Thank You" to those
who made our day extra special. You and your band, are definitely
among those who made our day so memorable.
Sean and I wanted so much to have a band that would be of high musical
quality while keeping the party moving and getting people on the
dance floor and having fun. That said, most bands will do that....
However, your band went above and beyond and gave us the musical
memories that made our day extra special. Not only did you play the
rock/pop music we wanted to hear, Good Clean Fun captured the true
essence of who we are and where we come from. I don't think any other
band could have done that. You guys were great.... from accompanying
my friend Paul on the pipes, to getting all the jigs and reels going
for the dancers and to playing the songs that mean so much. I can't
tell you how much dancing to "Lovely Leitrim" meant to
me... granted, musically, it is a bit "cheesy" but to dance
with that song with my father who left Leitrim when he was 15 and
dirt poor for a chance at better opportunities for his future family
in America....it meant a lot to us both...thank you. And to watch
my Irish mother try to do the Tarantella with Sean's Italian father---priceless.
People are still commenting on how great the band was at our wedding.
The people who were at the wedding from Ireland kept saying that
you guys were "absolutely brilliant!" :) And the people
at our wedding from out of state and/or non-Irish people, thought
you guys were a blast!
Please be assured of our continual support of your band. I will be
sure to continue to recommend you on Long Island Weddings and to
other friends/family members that are looking for a good band for
their wedding or other affairs. Please feel free to let us know if
we can ever see as a reference or referral for you.
